Service

The panel your house was built with isn't the panel your life needs.

A 1960s 100-amp panel was built for a house with one TV and no air conditioning. Add central air, an induction range, a dryer, and an EV — and you're tripping breakers or, worse, running everything at the edge. We upgrade panels and service to 200A, handle ConEd coordination and permits, and leave you with a panel labeled so well you'll never guess again.

Call us when

  • Breakers trip when two big appliances run together
  • You still have a fuse box or a Federal Pacific / Zinsco panel
  • Planning an EV charger, central air, or kitchen renovation
  • No room left in the panel for new circuits
  • Insurance company flagged your panel

Pricing, honestly

Panel upgrades are quoted in writing after the load calculation — one number including the panel, labor, permits, and inspection. Federal Pacific and Zinsco replacements are priorities; those panels have documented failure-to-trip rates.

How we handle it

01

Load calculation first

We calculate your actual demand — current and planned. Sometimes you don't need the upgrade, and we'll tell you that too.

02

Permits and ConEd handled

NYC electrical permits, inspection scheduling, and utility coordination are all on us. You don't make a single phone call.

03

One-day swap, fully labeled

Most upgrades complete in a day. Every breaker labeled accurately, every circuit tested, paperwork filed.

Common questions

How do I know if I have a dangerous panel?

Open the door and read the brand. Federal Pacific (Stab-Lok) and Zinsco panels have documented histories of breakers failing to trip during faults. If you have one, get it evaluated — that's not upsell, that's the fire data.

Do I need 200A for an EV charger?

Often, but not always — a load calculation tells us. Sometimes a load-management device lets your existing service handle it for far less money. We check before quoting the big job.
